Neighbors for Neighbors is a community network formed by groups of professional and volunteer women who act as active agents to achieve neighborhoods free of violence against women. The project promotes the formation and coordination of groups of women whose goal is to raise awareness in the neighborhood and at the same time accompany their neighbors in situations of gender-based violence in their recovery process from a community empowerment perspective. The volunteers, based on appropriate training and monitoring by the professionals, accompany their neighbors in the different actions and processes that female survivors go through: accompanying them to the courts, to police headquarters, to visits with lawyers, to medical visits, to the children's school, to carry out administrative procedures, to social services... throughout the often difficult path that they must follow to repair the damage they have suffered.
